My wife had a vision for our entryway. She wanted to get a small vintage mantle where we could have a place to put our keys and display small vases or sculptures. Unfortunately, we quickly learned that this isn't something that's easy to find if it exists at all. All the vintage mantles we found were enormous so I decided to design and print one myself.
Since my wife is originally from St. Louis, I decided on giving the mantle a fleur-de-lis motif. I also added a large slot that can be used for both keys and mail. To help prevent things from falling off the mantle's ledge, there are circular recessed areas to put vases, sculptures, or anything else one may want to display.
